Jordan and Nick's wedding in a nutshell:

-A hassle-free day that ran like clock work. No surprise, because Jordan planned it!
-The girls: a full day of pampering
-The guys: all day relaxing followed by a grand total of about 30 minutes getting ready (boys!)
-Gorgeous weather
-An intimate ceremony; short and sweet
-Lots of laughter and excitement; very little nerves
-Funniest best man speech EVER
-A "special" dance by the groom
-Beautiful details
-Hilarious parents-both sides.
-THE CAKE oh. my. goodness. So good!
-Peterbrooke chocolate and a bunch of bubbles

We enjoy all the weddings we shoot, but we seriously LOVED Jordan, Nick, their families and the wedding party. Talk about fun people!
I wish I would have videoed most of the reception. :)

Congrats Newlyweds! We wish you many happy years together!!!

Something old: Grandma's dinner ring
Something new: David Yurman earrings from the Matron of Honor (Bride's sister)

Jordan had lots of garters to choose from!

The 3 shots above were during the Best Man's speech. He was so funny!

Off to St. Lucia!

I love Heather! The girl is a planner. No, you don't understand. She makes a list, then she checks it three times and then she checks to make sure her checks are all the same size. Then she comes up with a plan of action for all the "what ifs". What if it rains? What if the flowers wilt? Ha! I just realized she would make a great event planner. Her new husband, Mike, just happens to be the perfect balance for her. He's laid-back, calm and collected. And I'm happy to say that none of Heather's "doomsday scenarios", as Mike calls them, happened on their big day! The couple tied the knot at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida. And all of the planning paid off; it was beautiful!

Congratulations Newlyweds!
I hope you're having an amazing honeymoon. And Heather, I know you're checking the computer...stop it!

Marie and Ryan planned an amazing wedding in the lush gardens at the Cummer Museum. They had every little detail worked out. Then Ryan called me the day of the wedding and said everything was being moved inside because of the nasty weather. Marie was upset. I felt terrible for them. The crew quickly started making changes to accommodate an in-door ceremony. But Ryan kept checking the radar. Then he made a risky decision. The ceremony would be outside just like Marie wanted. We would all just hope the rain held off. Miraculously, it did! And the wedding turned out beautiful. Even with all the last-minute changes!

Venue: The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens

Flowers and Design: Riverside Flowers and Events

Catering: The Chef's Garden

Cakes: Metro Custom Cakes

Band: Scott Giddens (featuring Linda Cole)

I have so many favorite images from the day. Here are just a few:

Isn't she gorgeous?!

So funny to see "product" in the guys' dressing room!

Ryan and Marie's daughters. The one on the right wanted to make silly faces in every picture-hilarious!

B-L-I-N-G!

I know it's all the rage right now for couples to see each other before the wedding, but I still love when their eyes meet for the first time during the ceremony. Look at her face!

They included their girls in the ceremony.

He's usually not a smiley person. He was that day. :)

Longest wedding kiss in history. Seriously!

Their happiness was contagious.

Yes, the wedding cake was fab, but can we talk about the Groom's Cake for a minute?!

Anderson was in love.

Real string.

Wood grain-are you serious?!

Even the signature was dead on. And to top it off...it was yummy!

Cute kiddos were all over the place.

EVERYONE was singing along with the incredible band. The singer is related to Nat King Cole. His niece, I think?

I have a secret. Every time we shoot a wedding I have a favorite guest. This time it was Ryan's dad. He was just the sweetest, friendliest guy. At the end of the night we were standing near the candy table, and he heard me tell Anderson that Sixlets were my favorite childhood candy. So he filled up two take home candy buckets and gave them to me! Sorry if you didn't get any Sixlets...:)

CONGRATS Ryan and Marie!!!

Here's a sneak peak from Ryan and Marie's beautiful wedding...because I'm scared the bride is going to show up on my doorstep if I don't post something! So many favorites from this wedding. Not sure how I'll choose images for a full blog post. It will be a long one!
More to come.
LOTS more to edit.
Must get back to it. :)

Oh, one more thing-Ryan had the best Groom's Cake I've ever seen. I caught Anderson drooling on it. Just wait!
