Mark and Taryn are such a cool couple.

I went to college with Mark and have worked with Taryn for a few years on several design projects. (Side note: she'd an amazing graphic designer... never disappoints!) When they booked their shoot they had no idea that by the time the session date arrived they'd have big news to share. You'll see...

And then they announced the BIG news! After they showed me the sign I had to tell myself, "Get it together, girl. You've got pictures to take," but I just kept babling and saying how happy I was for them. Then they told me I couldn't tell anyone. No one! And let me tell you, I think I'm finally a grown up, because I didn't say a word. To ANYONE. These two are going to be the best parents. I got to hang out with the talented Jamilah and her cute hubby, Dave, while they were celebrating their 1 year anniversary in St. Augustine last week. Jamilah is a photographer in West Palm Beach and was in need of some new headshots, so we spent the afternoon strolling around the nation's oldest city and talking about our shared passion for photography!

I've known Amber and her family forever and am so happy that God brought Andrew into her life. Although I have to say I think he might have his hands full with this girl. :) Kidding-kidding. She's great, and in the short time I spent with them it was obvious that they're a great match.

Ginger told me that she and Ryan haven't had pictures taken since their wedding...seven years ago! We agreed that it was definitely time for a fun family session with their cute little Haans. And fun we had in Atlantic Beach!

Kristin and Brian are tying the knot this fall. This super-sweet duo has been dating for a long time, and they've known each other even longer. These two are ready to be married, and their excitement about the big day is contagious! I love working with couples who aren't so obsessed with the wedding day details that they forget what it's all about. As a couple, Kristin and Brian give off a fun, laid-back vibe; the kind you have to have when working with a photographer who wants to incorporate a velvet Elvis into your engagement session.
